What F9
actually means.
The control checks that the conveyor is actually moving. F9 is raised when it is not. TurboChef lists too much weight on the belt, an obstruction blocking its rotation, damaged components and conveyor drives that overheated because the filters were dirty, the fans stopped or the room ran above 100°F.

What to do when F9 shows on the pizza ovenKind of codeConveyor belt and drive
The belt stopped, slowed or lost track of its speed. Sometimes a pan, a lid or a clump of burnt cheese has jammed the belt against the frame; more often the drive motor is worn, a coupling or a chain has slipped, or the speed sensor no longer reports what the belt is doing, so the bake time on the display stops matching the pies. Clearing the belt path once the oven is off and cold is a fair first step; a motor that hums without turning or a belt that has stretched out of true is a visit.
Usually leads toConveyor oven belt and motor repair
Conveyor oven belts, sprockets, drive motors, gearboxes and speed controls repaired, so pizzas ride through the tunnel at the set speed and never stall inside.
Shows up asPizza Oven Error Code on a Deck, Conveyor or Rapid-Cook Display
A pizza oven error code shows as letters or numbers on the display of a conveyor, deck or rapid-cook oven, a flashing light on its panel, or a message about ignition, heat, belt or airflow.

A TurboChef call starts with the menu item that came out wrong and the recipe setting it ran on, since a rapid-cook oven follows those settings to the second.

Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from TurboChef's own guidance for F9 on its pizza ovens. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Put the oven in the off state and wait until it is completely cool and the belt has stopped.
Take product off an overloaded belt, then look into the cavity for a dropped pan, a folded pizza screen or anything else blocking the belt, and remove it.
Clean the air filters and make sure the cooling fans are running and the room is not overheated.
If F9 returns with a clear belt, book a visit to check the gear drive and the conveyor motor.

What not to do
F9 is about the conveyor only; a belt that runs but bakes badly points to temperature or airflow instead. It does not mean the belt direction setting is wrong, which is a setup choice, not a code.

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code copied as shown, the model and serial from the rating plate, and a note on whether the oven still lights, heats or moves its belt. With those three, the office can match the likely part to your oven the same day.
