What HEATING ERROR
actually means.
The X-Series times its warm-up. If the oven has not preheated within 30 minutes, it raises HEATING ERROR and sounds an alarm. The manual gives three explanations: a gas supply or burner problem, or a warm-up that was interrupted part way through.

The controller called for heat and the deck or the cavity did not answer in time. On an electric deck oven that is often one element burned open under a stone, a contactor whose points have pitted, or a stone cracked so the heat no longer spreads; on a gas deck or conveyor it is a burner that lights but runs starved. Closing the door fully and giving the oven its full preheat rules out the simple case; an element, a contactor or a burner is a visit, and a burning smell means the breaker off first.
