It reports the same thing, an open thermocouple circuit, on an older controller. Type 1 controllers print PROB; the later touchpad controllers print open. ### Does PROB mean the Wood Stone thermocouple must be replaced? Not always. Wood Stone tells technicians to check the connections at the controller and in the junction box under the oven before replacing the sensor. ### Will the burners still run with PROB on the display?
