Idle is an energy-saving mode on the HhC. Both blowers fall to 30 percent and the belt slows to a 15-minute pass, while the rest of the oven stays as it was. It starts after the Idle key is pressed, either at once with a double touch or after a timer, and any key brings the oven straight back to cooking. A cool-down keeps the blowers turning after the heat is off until the cavity or the tunnel has dropped to a safe level, an energy save setting lets the decks sag between rushes, and a menu lock stops anyone on the line from changing the bake times. Each step comes from TurboChef's own guidance for OVEN IDLE on its pizza ovens. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Touch the Idle key, the up or down key or any soft key to return to cooking. 02 Give the oven a moment to bring the blowers back up before sending the next pizza through. 03 If the oven seems to go idle by itself, ask the team whether someone touched Idle once earlier: a single touch starts a delayed timer rather than idling at once. If nobody did, book a visit to look at the keypad. ### Cleared? The code has left the display, the decks or the tunnel come up to the set heat and hold it through a full service, the belt keeps its speed and the blowers run steady, all with no part changed. If the same code returns within a week, or on the next busy night, say so when you book. ### What not to do A slow belt in Idle is not F9 and not a drive problem. If the display reads OVEN IDLE, the oven has dropped into its power-saving mode and the belt runs at a 15-minute pass.
