Sometimes a pan, a lid or a clump of burnt cheese has jammed the belt against the frame; more often the drive motor is worn, a coupling or a chain has slipped, or the speed sensor no longer reports what the belt is doing, so the bake time on the display stops matching the pies. Put the oven in the off state and wait until it is completely cool and the belt has stopped. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### How do I clear F9 on a TurboChef HhC? Turn the oven off, let it cool and let the belt stop, then take off any extra product and remove whatever is blocking the belt. The manual is clear that the oven must be off and cool before anyone looks inside. ### Can dirty filters cause a TurboChef belt code? Yes. The HhC manual lists overheated conveyor drives as an F9 cause and asks for clean filters, running fans and a room below 100°F. ### Why does my TurboChef conveyor show F9 with nothing on the belt? An empty belt that still will not run points past load and blockage to the drive itself, such as the gear drive or motor.
