During a cook the control compares the chamber temperature with the profile. F2 is logged when the air falls too low and cannot recover. TurboChef lists a long set of reasons: lost power, too heavy a load, a dirty oven, an oven that was not fully warmed up, a defective heater, a blower that is not running and low supply voltage. TurboChef pizza oven display · also shown as F2: Low Temp During Cook, F2: Cook Temperature Low What to do when F2 shows on the pizza oven ### Kind of code Temperature and sensors A probe is handing the controller a reading it cannot believe, or none at all: a deck or tunnel sensor coated in baked-on flour and grease, its lead chafed or scorched where it passes the heat, or a connector loosened by years of doors slamming. The oven then runs hot, stalls short of its setting or shuts the heat off to protect itself. Take some product off the belt or rack and let the oven recover before loading it again. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why does my TurboChef conveyor show F2 only at the lunch peak? A belt packed edge to edge pulls heat out faster than the heaters put it back, and the manual lists an excessive load as a cause. Space the pizzas out; if F2 still appears at normal loads, the heater or the supply voltage is next. ### What is F2 Bypass on a TurboChef Single Batch? It is a setting on the Options screen. With it set to YES the oven records the F2 event but finishes the cook; with it set to NO the cook stops when F2 is found. ### Can low voltage in the building cause TurboChef F2? Yes, the HhC manual lists low supply voltage and sends that one to an electrician.
