In a conveyor or rapid-cook oven the impingement blower may be dragging on worn bearings, its fingers packed with grease so the jets fire unevenly, or its cooling fan clogged with flour dust until the controls overheat; a gas oven may also refuse to light when its combustion air switch never proves.
