The PS640 gas oven has two kinds of blower: the main blowers that bake and a burner blower that supplies combustion air. The screen alert shows Main Blower problem or Combustion Blower problem, and for either the manual says the computer has detected a blower issue that a qualified technician should correct. Middleby Marshall pizza oven display What to do when Combustion Blower problem shows on the pizza oven ### Kind of code Ignition and flame The oven tried to light its burner and never proved a flame, or proved one and then lost it. The usual reasons are ordinary: a gas shutoff not fully open or a tank running dry, an igniter cracked or crusted with flour dust, a flame sensor or thermocouple that no longer reads the heat, or a draft that pulls the pilot away from it. Checking the shutoff and the tank and running the restart the manual names are fair first steps; if you smell gas, get outside first, and the valve, the sensor and every fitting stay with a technician. ### Usually leads to Pizza oven burner and igniter repair Pizza oven burners cleared or replaced and igniters fitted and gapped, so the flame lights first time and burns blue and steady under the stone. ### Shows up as Pizza Oven Error Code on a Deck, Conveyor or Rapid-Cook Display A pizza oven error code shows as letters or numbers on the display of a conveyor, deck or rapid-cook oven, a flashing light on its panel, or a message about ignition, heat, belt or airflow. ### Make Middleby Marshall A Middleby Marshall conveyor call is about the line: how many pies came out right before the belt slowed, stalled or the crust went pale. ### Source Middleby Marshall PS640 series gas oven owner's operating and installation manual (60251 Rev J) PS640 series gas ovens (owner's operating and installation manual 60251 Rev J), Screen Alerts table. ## Before you book, in this order. Turn the oven off; a burner that cannot get proper air should not keep running. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### What is the combustion blower on a Middleby Marshall PS640? It is the burner blower that supplies air to the gas flame, separate from the main blowers that push baking air through the fingers. ### Can I restart my PS640 after a Combustion Blower problem alert? The manual does not offer a reset for this alert and sends it straight to a qualified technician. Leave the oven off and book a visit. ### Could a combustion blower issue cause a gas smell? A burner without the right air can burn poorly. Any gas smell means closing the supply, leaving the room and calling the gas utility from outside. --- **[Read on the site: Middleby Marshall Combustion Blower problem: the burner's air supply is in question](https://pizzaovenrepair.center/error-codes/middleby-marshall-combustion-blower-problem/)** **[Book a visit with PizzaOvenRepair.center](https://pizzaovenrepair.center/schedule/)**
