Marra Forni builds brick pizza ovens for pizzerias in Beltsville, Maryland: static Neapolitan domes and the Rotator, whose floor turns under the dome, fired by wood, gas or both, plus electric stackable deck ovens. Its gas ovens run a forced-air power burner under a MarraSmart touch-screen control, so service mixes burner and control work with brick and deck work. We service Neapolitan static brick ovens, Rotator brick ovens in gas and wood-gas versions, the enclosed-facade and mobile versions of both, and the Electric Series: ELST stackable decks (37-32 to 73-44) and the electric Metal Round and Metal Square ovens. The gas burners are MFB200 and MFB300 power burners. ### A power burner with a strict lockout Marra Forni's gas ovens use a forced-air power burner with direct spark ignition, a pre-purge and full gas shut-off. If the flame does not prove during the trial for ignition or is lost and not re-established, the burner control closes the gas valve and locks out until the main switch is cycled. ### A turning floor with a sealed motor box The Rotator's deck turns at set speeds of one rotation every 30 to 180 seconds, driven from a motor box that Marra Forni says never to open and whose parts are greased automatically. A deck that stalls or turns unevenly is a drive visit, not something to oil. ### The controller runs the cure The MarraSmart control has a five-day curing mode that sets the temperature itself and shows which day it is on. Small cracks, water dripping from the oven and an odor during those days are expected, and the display reads Open when it loses the thermocouple. ### Electric decks with heaters in the stone The ELST electric ovens stack up to four decks, each with its own touch-screen control and upper and lower infrared heaters built into a MarraStone deck of refractory brick with volcanic material. One cold deck in a stack is usually that deck's heaters or control, not the stack. Parts Marra Forni builds and assembles its ovens in the United States and keeps separate manuals for the static, Rotator and wood-gas Rotator ovens. We confirm the model, the burner (MFB200 or MFB300) and the fuel from the data plate before ordering burner controls, igniters, thermocouples or drive parts. Repair or replace Burner controls, igniters, thermocouples, deck drive parts and electric heaters are all repairable on a Marra Forni, and a brick dome is repaired rather than replaced. Replacement is a question for a badly damaged dome or deck, decided on site. Book your Marra Forni visit ## What we are called out for. How do I reset it? Marra Forni's reset is to turn the main knob or switch off, wait ten seconds, turn it back on, go to Manual Mode and switch the burner on, with the set point about 20 degrees above the oven temperature. If the burner locks out again, book a visit; the burner control and igniter are inside a console the manual says not to open. ### Why does my Marra Forni display read Open? The controller cannot see its thermocouple, and Marra Forni's first check is that the thermocouple is plugged into the control box. With the oven switched off, a lead that has been knocked loose can be the whole story; if it is seated and Open stays, the thermocouple or its wire needs testing. ### Can I oil the Rotator deck motor on my Marra Forni? No. Marra Forni says all motor parts are greased automatically and the motor box should never be opened. A noisy or slow deck is a visit. ### One deck of my Marra Forni electric stack is not heating. Is the whole oven affected? Usually not. Each ELST deck has its own control and its own upper and lower heaters, so one cold deck points to that deck's heaters, wiring or control. Note which deck and whether the top, the bottom or both stay cool when you book. --- **[Read on the site: Marra Forni Pizza Oven Repair | PizzaOvenRepair.center](https://pizzaovenrepair.center/brands/marra-forni/)** **[Book a visit with PizzaOvenRepair.center](https://pizzaovenrepair.center/schedule/)**
